Side note!

Just a quick side note:

         Azalea is 14 lbs 4 oz and is 26 inches long ... just a quick measurement since she has a bacterial infection in her gut ... nothing like getting things when we are SO small.  Hope the antibiotic works that she will barely take!!!

 So we decided to move our shed to a different spot in the yard... it was quite the process with Iron watching from his chair :)

My Kids!!!

So I don't know if anyone else has this dawn on them, but my kids are growing so fast I can't even watch them grow...  and it feels like it is going so fast that I can't remember from day to day that I don't want to forget because I LOVE them SO much!!!  So I decided to do an all word post and the pictures will come, as soon as I can get them done!


I wanted to write a few things, some mostly for myself, but you all can enter in...


This thing of multiple  children. To me it is much harder than I ever expected!!! I am not sure why. Iron has adjusted well, and still is adjusting.  I am thankful Angela Crawford for reading your posts about adopted children and them finding a place in your family. I think that is what Iron is trying to do.  His place was taken away and he has to find exactly where he fits in again!!!  He feels like nothing is the same, and it isn't!  I  just struggle to feel like I can  the best mommy to 2 children and still do what I need to do to keep myself sane!  I feel like I neglect both of them sometimes .. and I hate that!!!  But alas I am trying to fill my place as a mommy to 2...  I am finding the place better and better, but there is still a bit to iron out!


To tell a few things about Iron:


He makes me So sad and So happy at the same time.  His world is a wonder to him, but in his curiosity he sometimes gets in trouble (nothing like I did when I was a kid!:) )  But he is such a good boy, most of the time that it makes my heart melt.  He asked me today if he planted the seeds on the bread (sesame) if it would grow bread!  And every morning he asks me what we are having for "brea-stis".  And oatmeal is his choice almost everyday!!!  He still wants to hold our hand ... and likes to hold anyone's hand that he loves, sometimes though they don't know what to do with such an affectionate boy!  He says I love you  very freely which makes my heart melt!!  He wishes that we could have company everyday!! and he keeps me very busy!  He loves to cook with me and if he sees me doing something that he thinks is cooking he will ask to help just in case it is cooking!  There is my oldest ... my sweet boy!


Now for Azalea:


She is so ahead of her time I don't even know where to start!!  Her smile was within a week of being born, she never layed still to change a diaper, she rolled to her stomach at about 2 .5 weeks and talked at about the same time!!! She grew slow for the 1st month, but has more than caught up for that!!! She is the happiest most content baby, even when she doesn't feel the best!! I feel like I haven't even enjoyed her babyhood because it has gone So FAST.  Slow down.  She is already in the johnny jump up and was at 2 months ...  She already has a great personality.  She loves to smile and then look away real quick. 


we go for walks a lot, thanks to Noland's guy he works with.  They were done with their double stroller and thought of us!  Love my kids and I want to give them the best childhood they can have!!!  And I want them to NEVER feel neglected!!!
