Life moves on ... too fast!!! September 2012

Well I finally got another project done!!!  I had it quilted some time ago and just needed to bind it, but alas that takes time too!  I had started this quilt a LONG time ago and changed it along the way so I was really happy to have it done!
 Daddy being silly with Azalea!
Azalea loves to tell Iron "goodnight" head to head!
 Hi Daddy

 I like you Daddy!
What is a pile of bags doing in the kitchen???
Is there someone in them?  Feet??
 Hey there is!!
Chewing on our baby gate.
 Hi baby girl...

September Love ...

So here are a few more fun pictures that I will post ...
LOVE the sibling love here ... They really are starting to enjoy each other!

And I think that they like the person taking the picture too ... Gee, do you feel the love? :)
So we took a trip to the zoo in September becuase of Iron doing 5 GOOD JOBS!  He needed incentive to help out around the house so I typed up this sheet and waited until he completed it.  I then had to dream up what the reward would be.  The best I could think up was a trip to the Zoo and he thought that was a good idea too, so off we went with Mimi and Papa in tow.
Here is the list of the jobs that he did!  Some of them were really amazing! He really does like to help out around the house and help make the house clean. It will be really interesting to see how long he enjoys helping us! I hope for a REALLY long time!  Not only because of the work that gets done, but of the happy little helper that he is!

more Fall ramdomness ...

Well we haven't updated in a while, so its more than time!!!  These pictures are OLD but I still want to post them.  I believe they were taken in August...or maybe before.  Say the middle of May :)

Here is a Momma bunny that Iron drew! I Love it!

Bed time reading with sister!

Foot to foot with sister!!! = sweetness!

Our friend Devron came and visited us and we had a blast!! So glad we could see them again!!! It got kind of late for the kids and they got goofy and were rocking in the chair as fast as they could and laughing ... and causing the adults to laugh too!

My sweet chillins! One Sunday morning that they matched.  A rare occurrence in my house!

Daddy and the kiddos!

My yogurt mustache :)

Iron checking his email on his computer! Important stuff!

A pillow that I made ... Need to make more ... at least another one! Time, time, just need more time!

So we had to take Azalea to Denver to have a endoscopy and a sigmoidscopy done ... we stayed in a motel to make the morning easier since the procedure was early ... I got to watch them put her to sleep.  That's hard on a mother!!! But she came back fine ... No problems it just came back to show some allergy irritations in the large intestines.  This was the night before and the morning of. I made us all where good clothes as you can see for Iron :)

Resting the night before.  Sweetie!

Bath Time ... you love water~!

Sleeping So Sweetly!

I fell asleep on Daddy's lap and I wanted to  hold his hand.

So the water in Sterling, Co is EXPENSIVE ... and we don't get any rain ... So we decided to take out some grass... Noland and the skid loader and an old truck he borrowed from a guy at work.  Makes for an interesting day!

This is Iron's little play area outside.  He spends quite a bit of time with his trucks in the dirt!

Holding my blanket watching Daddy take out lawn.

June July and August

So here is some more up to date pictures and life...

We have started school again with Iron and he is doing really well!  He knows 1 - 20 and we are working on beyond which is easier to learn!  He knows most of his ABCs when he wants to :)  Sometimes the effort to do school work is hard!  Azalea is scooting around everywhere! So we have to watch the stairs!  She may start crawling soon!
What Iron thinks about Bug Juice!

We can't always be happy ... we are hungry keep the food coming!

Well Grandpa Ed we may give you a run for your money!  We love doughnuts too!

Loves holding my finger and I love it too

bites!

Can't wait until she can take bites of real

The Middle of May

So I know that this will shock everyone but I am going to keep on blogging after all this time ... These pics are all the way from the middle of May, sorry.  Seems like I have NO time ... Azalea has had her 6 mo check up in which she weighed 19 lbs and 5 oz and was 28 in long.  A BIG girl.  95% in her height and 75% in her weight.  We are still struggling with her stomach issue! She had a endoscopy and a colonoscopy and they found that she has allergies, so off with Mom's milk and onto formula!  Now she has showed allergic signs to that formula so we are onto another one that is $$$$$$!  But if it makes her get better it is ALL worth it!
So we decided to try the bouncer a little early :) but she has loved it ever since!  I like Iron's finger pointing at her!!!
This was one of our favorite things to do... lay beside one another
Another good pastime ... Playing together!
Cute pants in her candy socks!
Is there a boy in there???  I think he was trying to be a roly poly :)

Side note!

Just a quick side note:

Azalea is 14 lbs 4 oz and is 26 inches long ... just a quick measurement since she has a bacterial infection in her gut ... nothing like getting things when we are SO small.  Hope the antibiotic works that she will barely take!!!
